This is my 3rd time to attend a class at the Black Swan Yoga on White Oak and so far I love it. The studio is very clean and the instructors are top notch. Candice's beginner class is fantastic! At the end of the class I felt great about myself. I definitely want to go back soon!

I live in Montana but work in Houston a lot. I always go to Black Swan when I am in town. They have a donation based drop in, which is nice now that so many studios are charging $20 or more for drop in. I did Lucas' 6am class this morning, and it was lovely. Good cuing, good sequencing, and he had a few new (for me) adjustments on old poses. Great studio.

Fake reviews...beware. Way to expensive, instructors are new wave millennials who think they have it all figured out and that the world owes them a favor....inconvenient location with almost zero parking...and millennial classmates who look for a “score” afterwards. No thanks.

I have come here over a year and the teachers and staff are always helpful and friendly. Showed up to class today 8 minutes after the time and was turned away because the policy is apparently 6 minutes after class starts.. I was told it's disruptive if I walk in.. I have been an instructor before and never found a late student as a disruption, as long as they were respectful coming in and jumping straight into practice. I will be finding another studio with greater values to the practice and is more welcoming to all that come willing to work hard.

I went to one of their free offered classes at 10 AM. I was rejected at the door because I had no cash on to make an "optional" donation. 0/5; thumbs down would not recommend. Yoga is a beautiful art shared for the many but its places like these that continue to put a bad name on yoga studios everywhere. When they advertise themselves as "affordable" I guess 88$ is as good as it gets. Please go look at other yoga studios around Houston. Yoga one studios or Devanand studios are a few that come to mind!
