Great time and people. The ridge had an amazing dance, and the pool was perfect. Love that it doesn't cost a a lot to camp. I will definitely be back again soon!!

Great pool. Close drive to all main stores (Walmart/dollarama, etc). Very clean campsites and main areas.

The Ridge is a welcoming place for all, gay, lesbian, trans, bisexual people. There has been a great deal of attention paid to bettering the park in the past few years. It has an improved outdoor pool area, with areas to either lay in the shade or soak up the sun. The restrooms/change rooms are very clean and well maintained. The park has a weekly Friday evening bonfire in the camping area as well as weekly dances Saturday nights in the Dance Hall across from the pool. The owners and staff are friendly and want to make sure everyone enjoys their stay in the park. It is only one hour and fifteen minutes from down town Toronto, and less from other places like Guelph or London. Camping fees are very reasonable. And for those who do not wish to camp they do have cabins/ apartments / rooms (with limited amenities) for rent. All have recently been renovated by the 'regulars aka seasonals' through a decoration/renovation contest. The rooms range from elegant couples retreat room to a Wonder Woman inspired theme room. The seasonal campers (regulars) are friendly and welcoming. This park is often not top of mind when seeking an LGBT campground but should be. Everyone should visit even just for a day to experience this hidden gem.
