Stopped for a pit stop, glad we did as it is a well maintained spot with a nice beach shaded with trees.

To get to Lillooet - Seton Lake from Kamloops we left Trans-Canada Hwy at Cache Creek and went into less explored by tourists territory along the route 99, stunning and ragged. Lillooet is a community in BC, Canada on the Fraser River - the largest salmon spawning river in the world and the longest river in North America. Being in the rain shadow of Coast Mountains, Lillooet area has very hot and dry climate (just 13in of percipitation annually), which made it a wine and garden country. This area has rich Aboriginal history; it's a main population center of St'at'imc(Lillooet Nation) , indigenous people has inhabited this area for several thousand years, and now more than 50 percent population there are St'at'imc. It's an interesting town to visit, attractive because fishing, camping, mountain biking, trailing opportunities and a lot of events like different festivals. For me, it was very memorable place to visit because of its unusual rugged scenery and its history. West of Lillooet lay beautiful Seton Lake, and you just want to be near it and don't go away. For me Lillooet is not only tourist atttaction, it is the heart of Lillooet-Fraser Interior Plateau.
