I have been going to this gym for over a year. The facility is pretty great. There is equipment for most sorts of training. It is rather busy around 5:00pm but the rest of the time is much less so. The trainers are friendly and not too pushy. I genuinely enjoy working out here.

I'm from Vancouver and I was visiting my friend on the island who is a member at Steve Nash. It was nice to know my pass worked in Victoria. Staff were super friendly which is nice since the one I go to in the lower mainland the staff do not even acknowledge half the time you enter or leave. We went around 745pm to get the slower period. The place is big and spacious, lots of cardio machines, free weights up to 120 lb were so nice, change rooms were clean, lots of parking out front. I wish this was my gym in the lower mainland.

They were so aggressive when they tried to sale you a membership. When you’re signing up the contract, they showed you where to sign without letting you know about the important details. When it comes to the cancellation, they blamed you for not reading the policies and charge you another 30 days of membership. The employees there were kind of ignorant when you are signing out.

Except for the fact that they are so focused on getting new customers, which makes it super busy after work, it is a great place. It's a lot nicer to have sunlight when you're running on the treadmill or rowing than in a windowless room like the other gym I used to go to. Just too many people to give it 5 stars.

Decent sized gym that gets the job done. If you want to get a good workout in without waiting you need to avoid the busy times, otherwise you'll likely do more waiting then working. Pricewise, the lowest it averages to around $33 per month which isn't bad. That includes the annual fee plus the bi weekly payments. There's no swimming pool, sauna, courts, etc. so if you're looking for that stuff, this won't be the place for you.
