Incredible staff. I rent a car from Hertz (Charlottetown,PEI) and I picked that 2018 RAV4 1:00 am July 3rd at the airport. My travel plan was driving from Charlottetown ,PEI to Montreal, QC with my friends. When halfway at the Fredericton, NB, the RAV4 got a big crack on its windshield without any collision or any kind of hitting. It cracked itself from top to middle (without any clues of small rock hitting). I am not a pro about either Toyota or vehicle, and i searched that on google which said it could be a factory defect . At the Hertz branch Fredericton NB, the Hertz staff Brews (hope i spell his name correctly) helped us a lot with very friendly and professional attitude even though i could not stop complaining and blaming about this bad quality vehicle. They provided us a same level SUV without any more charges within 1.5 hours which is a very efficient solution beyond our expectation. No one could know what kind of failure would happen to our vehicle, but Brews' attitude and his way of handling the problem really impressed me. My friends and i all felt satisfied about the solution. Thanks very much.

Very long wait time. We had a reservation for noon and they made us wait half an hour before we could get our car. But after that things went very smoothly and the service was good

Incredible staff. They helped us in a pinch over the Thanksgiving Holiday. My fiancé forgot his sunglasses in the vehicle and the receptionist made sure to look for them herself and give me a call back as soon as she found them. Really great rates for weekly use as well! Thank you!

TERRIBLE. Go to Enterprise instead. I was given a car that was so FILTHY that I couldn't even check the car for damages pre pickup I was concerned because I did not have proof that potential damage may have existed before my pick up as I could barely see them. The clerk was rude and curt. To top it off, this was January and the car I was given did not have winter tires (?!), causing me to slip constantly. The price for 24 hours was literally DOUBLE what I would have paid at Enterprise...and they would have picked me up. I was forced to go with Hertz as Enterprise is closed on Sundays, and it was an overall terrible experience. If you're reading this: just go with Enterprise. It's down the street and 10x better. Don't make the same mistakes I did. I've rented from both many a time and Enterprise is leagues ahead. Hertz is trash. A Hertz location in Halifax tried to scam me by claiming that I returned the car with a dent. When I provided photos (proof) that were taken when I dropped off the car (without a dent visible), they suddenly CUT OFF ALL COMMUNICATION after realizing they had been caught in a lie. If you Google 'Hertz Damages Scam', you will find many similar stories. Bottom line: STAY AWAY FROM HERTZ. They are truly the bottom of the bucket in the rental world.
