Nice space to go if your dog has a love for swimming. Can be a really good time for your dog if weather permits. However this is right beside the lagoon and algae blooms can quickly make the water gross! Check the condition of the water before making the trip! There were also a lot of lazy owners that didn't clean up after their dogs. I even saw one owner throw a bag into the nearby tree line. Yuck!

Is there any way to give more than 5 stars? Absolute favourite place to take my pup in MB. All off leash, amazing beach for humans too! A little pebble-y in the water but the sandy beach is perfect for sunbathing, frisbee, and picnics. About an hour from Winnipeg

The beach it nicer then the public beach the sand is softer and has less rocks on it. Everytime i go its quite and jas only few dogs so its not over whelming. Its a great place to bring the dog to run off leash and play in the water. They do have a poop bag dispenser but it was empty so good idea to bring your own.

The dog beach itself is perfect. Disrespectful owners of the dogs need a lesson in common sense. While it is an off leash beach, you have to be able to verbally control your dog. If you cannot keep it from harassing beach goers and other pets, keep it on a leash.

Follow the Google map directions and it will lead you right to it! The dog beach is clean, well shaded and quite large. If you're planning on going in the water, I'd recommend water shoes if you have some, as it's quite rocky until you get a little deeper.
