Got my nails done today by Ann, for Christmas. She did an AMAZING job. I've had my nails done here before and I've always left happy with them, but today was even better. One of the nails was applied so it wasn't completely flat, and instead of just pushing through it, she took it off and replaced it, to make sure it looked like the rest. She double checked each nail length with that on the other finger and she was super friendly. 10/10 experience!

Update* They were more then happy to redo. Both times the people doing my nails were lovely. Got shellac nails done Friday and they looked amazing. Monday one of the nails broke (see picture 1). Monday night while doing dishes half of it came off (see pic 2). On Tuseday, today for this review, while cooking and cleaning the house the nails ended up like this by the end of the day. I've never had shellac nails fall off so fast or easily.

They make up prices as they feel. Went a few months ago and was charged tax with cash. Went back today and was begged to pay with cash. I didn't have any on me and said no. Mary proceeded to tell me there'd be no tax on cash if I had cash. So I asked why I was charged tax last time with cash? She shrugged her shoulders and didn't respond to me anymore. She stopped speaking to me. Also, there are some new girls there who completely butchered the job. I wasn't happy. I coudlve done the job myself at home and not have it look like a child did it. Absolutely feel robbed and cheated.

I went to get a pedicure and manicure. Was told $70 for both. I always ask upfront so I know what I am willing to do and spend. I knew I was going to tip $10… but as soon as I go and cash out now… $80. It seemed to be the discretion of the owner selecting the prices. She is VERY pushy with doing additional things but that’s not a good business practice. Recommend it once and that’s it. Don’t go on 20 tries later to upsell. I hate when nail salon owners do this. Customer’s do not appreciate when you do this. I feel bad not tipping the girl but because of the owner being so greedy, how could I tip?! $10 was deserved to go towards the nail tech not the salon owner. When I left now, I felt cornered and stared down by everyone. And because I do not understand… they were all chattering away and staring at me. Bad business practices… I do like my nails though.
