My partner and I bought our very first home earlier this year. We had visited mortgage specialists at financial institutions and were not happy with the services we received or the feedback we heard from friends and family who dealt with them. It was also challenging working around their schedules. It was recommended that we contact a mortgage broker instead and we were given Paul's contact information. Paul was fantastic to deal with, especially for first time home-buyers. His advanced industry knowledge and superior customer service skills make the process convenient and makes you to feel like you're in good hands. He explained the paperwork, provided information and guidance for us to make educated decisions and he was available for us every step of the way (including every time we had a question or concern pop into our heads). He even accommodated our hectic work schedules. Although our initial mortgage application is complete, Paul still keeps in touch with us and provides information about how the market is changing and how those changes will affect us. He continues to care for his clients even when we're not in current need of his services. Whether its your first mortgage or you're renewing an existing one, we highly recommend working with Paul.

It was horrible, we walked in wanting to open an account, there were 3 People working but only one serving costumers. The line was huge but we dicided to wait. It was very loud in there, tellers laughing and speaking in outdoor voices. It didn't feel very welcoming, so we went outside and crossed the street. Guess where we went?! CIBC!

Average wait time at least 15 minutes... Tellers serve one person and just leave.

Steve helped my girlfriend I with the purchase of our first home. I would absolutely recommend him to other first time home buyers. He took the time to explain EVERYTHING we were signing. He went further than to just get us a great rate (which he did) he took the time to educate us about the mortgage we were getting to close the home, and what that meant for any plans we had for the house in future years.
