Poor customer service
I'm brand new to golfing. This was the first ever membership I've purchased for golfing.
I accidentally booked a round outside of the specified times at a course. When I arrived at the course I was advised that they were not accepting my payment through GTA GC as it wasn't in the required time slots and to contact them for a refund as I paid them in person. So now I've paid twice for one round.
I contacted customer service and the tone of the email was demeaning. I was made out to feel like a fool.
Ok I could of done some more due diligence on my end - I'll admit that.
But I was advised I "took away another spot from another golfer who could of used it". - and that's their reason to keep my money even though I still golfed a round at the club.
The whole premise of this membership is you pay GTA and they pay the golf club. GTA is pocketing my money. They're not paying the golf club the fee as I paid the golf club directly.
