I was advised by the garage door opener manufacturing company to contact them for maintenance of the door so that the opener could function properly. They were nice and were quick to send a technician for maintenance call. After inspection, he informed that the maintenance wasn't of any use as both the door and opener needed replacement (which was an honest advise). Despite of sharing this fact to Abbey Overhead Doors, they still insisted on paying the full service fee, which I finally had to. I can understand that the gentleman had to visit and inspect but in the absence of agreed maintenance, the money could either not be charged or could have been a reasonable amount. I would advise others to be cautious and discuss these terms before agreeing to have their services.
