In short, I would not have been successful in my challenge of my insurance providers refusal to pay out LTD claim if I had not partnered with Derek to challenge the decision. I had tried as an individual to submit a claim that (I felt) was very strong. I had supporting documentation from numerous medical experts and a documented clinical record of life threatening related health issues. I soon realized that the insurance industry is not there to help but rather to generate profit and benefit stakeholders. Derek was able to work with me to navigate the system and bring us to mediation resulting in a positive outcome. I hope to never find myself in a similar situation, but if I do I will not hesitate to contact Derek. I met with three legal councils before going with Derek.
