I'm a guy, which some people may think makes me suspect in rating hair salons--but in my favor, I have had haircuts in beaucoup places in Georgetown, DC downtown, and throughout McLean (as well as in London, Paris, New York, Dallas and San Diego). A shampoo at ELEMENTS and a cut by Irving or his fantastic daughter is in a league with the best of the best anywhere. I prefer how I look and feel after a salon cut than after a barber has had at me. After a cut by Irving and his crew, I am confident that I can go anywhere and have an audience with anyone looking as good as I can look. If you are looking for a permanent home, look here.
