Do NOT send your kids here for after school camp IF you have their driver pick them up at school! Drive your child here yourself! They have been picking up kids after school at Forestdale Elementary for years and for years no matter the driver or whether the van or sport utility being driven they BLOW thru the back gate and have many times almost broadsides me and other drivers, twice in the past two days. I have never said anything because I am an experienced older driver and just shake my head. BUT yesterday and today were the most egregious. The kid driver is making a RIGHT out the back gate of the school and routinely just pulls out in front of straight traffic without looking to see us coming. The law states cars going straight have the right of way and those turning in front must yield and at least look! He is a kid and is driving elementary kids!
