I came to Konikoff Salzberg Periodontics in early 2005 after being referred by my dentist who I only saw once shortly after moving to the area from Ohio. I was diagnosed by Dr. Albert Konikoff with severe periodontal disease. This was a surprise to me since I had seen a dentist for cleaning etc. every 6 months all of my life from the time I was 13 years old. Lesson learned here is it's not enough just to see a dentist if they aren't doing anything to save your teeth! I was told by Dr. Konikoff they would do all they could to save my teeth but it was just a matter of time until my teeth would start to fall out. I have been treated with the ultimate professionalism at all times, and the cleaning done by Jean every 6 months is nothing short of outstanding! She is truly invested in doing the best possible job she can to help me retain my teeth. It has been 13 years and I haven't lost any teeth yet thanks to the expert care I receive each and every time.
