I called for a repair of a leaky faucet and was asked my address and phone number and told that I would be called back if they could come the same day. I called back myself just to schedule for the following week and was told by the woman who answered the phone that they aren't licensed to work in the neighboring town. If this were true, why not say so during the first call?
