SHAME ON YOU!
2nd time having you carpet 2nd floor and stairs. Premium carpet chosen.
I watched the installers remove the old carpeting. When staples started ending up in my lap, I protested. The man flinging them out over his shoulder did not speak English, so installer #1 had to translate. He looked at me blankly. It seemed pointless to mention that having a little can on the ladder would have given him some place to put the staples. I found them all over the place for months and months. The old carpeting and the staples went into a huge clear plastic bag. Then installer #2 started dragging it towards the front door. I jumped up to tell him to stop just in time to see him make a huge gouge in the hardwood. It was deep, through several layers of clear coat and custom stain into the wood to a depth that needed filling. I called my salesman Ray V., he called the store manager, and they both came for a look. Said go ahead and get it repaired, and left me paying for everything!
