Beware

On Friday, August 13th I left my house at approximately 10:00 am. When I returned an hour later there was a huge pile of crushed rock at the entrance of my driveway blocking access to my house. A couple of hours later (approximately 12:00 to 1:00PM) a dump truck pulled up on the side of the road. The driver got out and explained that the load of rock was dropped off by accident. After a bit of conversation, I gave the driver my business card and asked him to have his employer call me) or email me) to arrange to move the rock. Note: I specifically told the driver (twice) that the email and phone number on the card was valid, but the physical address was no longer in use. Never heard a thing. No email. No messages. Nothing. I eventually had to hire someone at a cost of $300, including 20 hours of my own time to clean up the mess.
