Brought in truck for engine rebuild on a semi truck. Truck had a 550 cubic engine but parts were put in for a 425....Business did not acknowledge their mistake and I ended up having to take them to court. Received a judgement for $10,000 - this was settled over a year ago but no payment has been received as of today even after much time/energy has been spent trying to get ahold of them. Please let me know if you have also had a similar experience and are also interested in taking your issue to small claims court. If you have brought your truck brought in to be deleted it is not D.O.T. (department of transport) accredited!! They are not following legal procedures therefore truck cannot be legally safetied. If you are caught it is a $10,000 fine and you can't sell it if it's already been deleted. Because of the illegality you may be able to get your delete reversed through the courts.
