1. I hired them for an upcoming mediation with another party, the retainer was signed on May 3, 2023, with mediation scheduled for May 31. 2. Despite my time constraints, they delayed working on my case for several days, unnecessarily, despite receiving the retainer funds, on May 3. 3. The initial retainer trust account was depleted by 90% in less than three weeks, even though the work done at that point shouldn't have consumed as much time or funds. 4. Their billing scheme included charging for 'receiving emails', a practice I found very unusual. I was billed $38.5/email for merely sending email(s). 5. Then, I received the first invoice requesting an additional, ~$5000. They made it clear that they would cease work if I didn't pay. 6. On May 29, they requested additional money, with the threat that if money was not paid, they wouldn't represent me in the scheduled mediation on May 31, 2023. The relationship ended and I commenced a lawsuit against them to recover the money they charged
