Failed to further question or investigate information found when searching the title of the property. Failed to advise us of a 'right of way" that affect our legal description. A right of way means someone has the right to enter your property. Rather than questioning what the right of way was for, he simply has it deleted because it had expired. The right of way was for the drainage on the property, as we have discovered. Some advise to all Realtors and Lawyers, a right of way may be expired however, you MUST still investigate what is was for!. We have a 7 foot manhole and the City of Vaughan is saying we own it! This could have all been avoided if BOTH the Realtor and the lawyer had cared at all about anyone else but themselves.
