I have read a few negative reviews here and I honestly feel that the negativity says more about the reviewers than about Dr. Gillam and his staff. My family and many extened family and friends have been going to Dr. Gillam for well over a decade and we have always had great service. Dr. Gillam has always been honest with me and we have never been pressured to get glasses; even when we need them. I have a mild astigmatism, that is helped with my glasses, and it changes every few years, but not enough that I necessarily need to get new glasses; unless I want some. The accusation about Norma trying to scam Blue Cross by direct-billing them for their portion is just a blatant example of defamation from a customer who seems to have had buyer's remorse and decided to try making an honest employee look bad for doing her job properly instead of taking responsibility for his own decisions. I highly recommend this office.
