First of all, I am living in a homeless shelter, struggling really badly, and have severe health problems. When I first called for the initial exam I made it clear of why I needed the exam and what exact brand I needed in contact lenses. I also made it clear that due to my personal and financial situations, I can't afford much and that I have really bad anxiety. I booked a time slot for a ride from one of the staff from my shelter which is almost impossible to arrange, went all the way over there and they tell me THEN that there is an extra fee for the contact lens fitting and Dr. Chow was late which was very unprofessional, irresponsible, careless and disrespectful to my time, effort, and energy as a person with many health problems. Then, when I came back to get my contacts fitting, they tell me THEN that they don't carry that brand anymore, instead telling me before going through the hassle of leaving my shelter and getting there.
