There are many dance studios around this neighbourhood, but we chose this one based on friends recommendation and commute distance. My daughter has tried the ballet and jazz-hip hop recreational classes here and I have to say she thoroughly enjoys Jazz Hip Hop the most. She goes to the 5-8 age group classes and is well challenged in the routines they perform for the final show in May. Unlike some schools, you receive your dance costume for the performance as part of the annual cost and they are tailor adjusted to all the students. There is an encouraged dress code for the girls based on the genre of dance class. I do wish you could get more of a dance technique taught without having to go into competitive dance - but this seems to be quite common in all dance studios I've researched.
