THERE IS A REASON WHY this care home has to advertise VACANCIES; every other care home has long waitlists. Great REGRET having my loved one at Trillium (Bevan Village, Abbotsford). My lovely friend suffered unfathomable neglect; was admitted into Trillium completely continent, and within weeks was fully diapered as staff did not take time to toilet her. Staff would refuse to let us toilet her or move her, yet would not show up when we rang the call button for assistance and put us off when we went to nurses station to request help. Upon our daily visits, we observed how she had been, either herded in front of the nurses station with many others or left alone in her wheelchair in the hallway of her room. No interaction or stimulation. Died with unknown/undisclosed cause. Tragic!
