Our house was built in 2018 and still corrections with ceiling and wall imperfections, caulking, and flooring issues remain unresolved. Customer care after the build is awful,,,but at least they have all their money. For anyone looking at building a prefab, with the after build concerns that we, and others have encountered with Barrie Build & Design ( Barrie Builds ), if they won’t allow you to hold 5-10% till after the maintenance repairs have been completed, then we encourage you to check out similar prefab builders such as Quality Homes ( very good reviews ) as well as Comfort Homes. When I inquired about our concerns 2 years ago Adam apologized stating that they didn’t have any crews in our area that year which was deceiving because they had done a build 7km away that year. I have also spoken with another customer of Barrie Builds in our area and they too have never had their one year inspection and they built about 3-4 years ago.
