Our house was built in 2018 and still corrections with ceiling and wall imperfections, caulking, and flooring issues remain unresolved. Customer care after the build is awful,,,but at least they have all their money. For anyone looking at building a prefab, with the after build concerns that we, and others have encountered with Barrie Build & Design ( Barrie Builds ), if they won’t allow you to hold 5-10% till after the maintenance repairs have been completed, then we encourage you to check out similar prefab builders such as Quality Homes ( very good reviews ) as well as Comfort Homes. It’s been nearly four years since our build. Prior to building, Barrie Builds told us they would do a home inspection in a year. Took us at least 2 years before this inspection took place and that was due to our persistence. They acknowledged the cracks in ceiling, caulking separating, and issues we had with their bottom of the barrel standard flooring. Still waiting !!
