I have had an excellent appointment this afternoon to find out how my hear in both ears have progressed over the years. All of the staff were very knowledgeable and supportive. I learned a lot about the different hearing aids and what is the best one for my own personal choice to choose. The last hearing test I had was in the late 1980's and I was quite surprised to find out the new innovative ways the hearing aid has progressed. I have never had a hearing aid before, I have profound deafness in the right ear due to early childhood nerve deafness due to chicken pox in my youth.- and the results mean I am only a candidate for my left ear after having been tested today in both ears. The hearing aid I have chosen will give a better quality of hearing as for many years I have to have people repeat what they have said to myself. Barb B.
