Do not sign anything with her until you go through it with a magnifying glass. Do not let her presssure you into making the decision or hand over money without knowing what is truly refundable. I had an unforeseen health issue where im being hospitalised with surgery. I went into the hospital the day she had a payment scheduled and could not reach out. I reached out as soon as i could to cancel thinking in this instance i would get back at least some of the money. Especially since I am still in the hospital. My shoot wasnt going to be for a couple of months. And she could have been understanding provide a courtesy for this unforseenable situation but no. Rescheduling is not option due to my health problems. In short, when it comes between making every dime she can or doing the right thing for her client. This photographer will always stick to the fine print and has only her business interests at heart. Not her clients. Just as a heads up.
