Jay Taylor Landscaping company is a fraudulent business and appears to have a pattern of taking and advance and not completing the work. Joshua Taylor Vega who runs this business provides a contract initially and appears enthusiastic to do the required landscaping work. He insists on paying and advance to secure the contract. I reluctantly paid the 30% advance (in cash) and agreed to the contract as he was desperate for the job with the pandemic. He attributed similar past complaints / negative reviews online (see multiple BBB reviews) to previous owners of the company. He came in the 3rd time for a lawn cut (where he did an incomplete job). He pleaded to collect his monthly installment to fix his lawn mower and subsequently stop responding to calls or texts upon receiving the payment. He started lying about being sick, being hospitalized, having family emergencies or broken-down equipment even though he carried on work on other properties. He has since stopped responding completely
