This use to be my go to spot until a week ago. I went for a simple pedicure and I’ve been going to nail salons for a long time so I’m very familiar with the process of pedicures. My preferred shape is square and typically the technician shapes my toes before they put on the polish. During my pedicure, I reminded this very young technician that I wanted the shape of my toe nails squared. She kept telling me okay okay but she never seemed to follow through. On the fourth request, I was extremely irritated when she began applying the nail polish without shaping my nails. The owner came over and they began to speak with each other in Vietnamese. The owner then translate to me that my toe nails are too thin as to why the technician had to apply the polish after the fact. It’s one thing that these technicians tell customers that their middle finger is crooked when they put on the fake nail but come on, “my toe nails are too thin” LMAO that is a new one!
