I’ve had nothing but amazing experiences at the spa! The reception has been so helpful and accommodating and the massage therapists and esthetician made me feel like a new person. 10/10 recommend.

I believe the spa has undergone some changes in staff and or management but I have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience. Excellent service provided by the Manager, Michael. When I expressed my concern with checking out on time because of the time of my massage, he called the front desk to request a late checkout and then called the restaurant to postpone our Brunch reservation. He was super accommodating, very kind, pleasant and overall, a great human! The massage therapist, Camille Nadia, was an incredibly talented massage therapist - we very much enjoyed our massages. Thank you for making this experience awesome for my husband and I. Until next time!

We had a very disappointing experience on Sunday. Our duo massages were scheduled at the wrong time. I had to pay for 60 minutes duo massages instead of the 40 minutes that we actually got. The receptionist did not help or cared about the situation at all. She had a stone faced mask the entire time we were there. The therapists were great, even though mine was booked for the wrong service all together. The detailed story: I booked a duo message treatment for 10:30am. We arrived at 10:15am, took our time to change and were in the waiting room at 10:30am. The receptionist informed us that our massage started 15 minutes ago (the time we arrived) and that we have to fill out the forms asap. It was another 5 minutes before the therapists arrived. So we got about 40 minutes massages instead of 60 minutes. The place was completely empty and there was nobody behind us. I don't see how they couldn't do the full 60 minutes for us. The previous receptionist clearly booked us at the wrong time since I was lining up our massages with the brunch reservations at the Muse upstairs. We had an extensive conversation of how much time we need between the spa time and the brunch time so we are not waiting for a long time to get food. Anyways, on location it turned out that we got the wrong services booked as well. My therapist agreed to do the service that I actually booked albeit I sensed reluctance. The massages were great for both of us but, of course, having them cut 20 minutes short was not what were expecting. The place is starting to show some aging signs too, there are several leaks. One huge water sprinkle was right by the sofa, and was not very safe in those rubber slippers we had. The receptionist could care less and didn't bother to dry the puddles. It looks like repairs are needed all over the place, peeling plaster in a few places, rusty accessories in the bathrooms, etc. Would love to see this spa revitalized, it was really nice a while ago. I loved this spa 2 years ago, I am not sure why they decided to let it go this far. One more thing, at the time of booking the website did say $200 for the duo massage. The receptionist said it was $220. That would have been fine, if we got the full 60 minutes instead of 40 minutes!

The reception and feeling of the place was good however, the massage we received was a real let down. For starters, while in the waiting room, we could hear the massage therapist Marie Josée swearing at the front desk because the computers and program they were using wasn't working properly and how she wasn't getting her proper pay. All this while the door to the waiting room was open and everyone inside got quite an earful. I get being upset but there really is a time and place and that wasn't it! After, to my dismay, I found out she was my therapist... and it didn't look like they had the staffing to refuse... The whole time she smelled of cigarettes and the actual massage mostly felt as she was just trying to kill time as she did not refer to the sheet to see if I had any pain anywhere that needed to be worked on and when she did get to knots she would just move along as though she never felt it...and instead press in one spot for literally 45 seconds which did absolutely nothing for me (hence why I was counting). My wife, who was lucky enough to be with me the entire time as this was for our anniversary, got a massage therapist who couldn't set up the table prior to us arriving and got down on all fours to try and adjust it while my wife and I were waiting for several minutes. Marie Josee simply got out of the room as this was going on and waited outside of the room while the massage therapist, who seemed quite new, toiled away. She then asked my wife which side my wife needed work on. My wife had showed on the sheet (given prior) which side, spelled it out on the sheet, verbally confirmed it with the therapist and she still got the wrong side as she did the massage. At the end, we both looked at each other, paid and went in the hot tub as we figured it would do a better job at being relaxing than our $253 massages ($110 each plus tax was $126.50, even if we booked as a couple's massages which should be $200 as per their website) this without tip, to which we were given the cold shoulder for on our way out. The whole experience, which I was more than happy to pay for to treat my wife as we had both driven from NS to be there, really did leave us both with a sour taste in our mouths and put a real damper on our entire trip. For anyone who may be considering this, you'd really be better to just skip it all together and stick to the hot tub, it'll cost less and be a whole lot more relaxing.

Regrettably, my experience is much the same as others before me and would recommend you look elsewhere for a massage. I booked a massage for 10:15 and changed into a comfy robe but was kept waiting until they said the masseuse wasn’t coming in. I rearranged my day and returned for a massage at 13:15. The massage was just about ok, certainly not great. I requested a receipt at the time of booking and again at the spa but couldn’t get one, it took over a week to get a receipt after several phone calls and messages. I was told that a director would contact me to talk about my experience, but that was several days ago now. UPDATE The owner finally replied 19 months after my visit (18 December 2019) and review (January 2020). Both events were pre-Covid, contrary and misleading to suggest otherwise. Too little too late! As mentioned previously, the appointment was on the 18th December 2019 at 10:15, then it was bumped to 13:15. This should enable you to see the name I booked under. Nevertheless, as a courtesy I shall be reaching out to Linda to discuss and clarify.
