TLDR: Don't waste your time here. I don't understand how this nail salon has so many good reviews. Went in on a Sunday afternoon for a gel pedi as I was around Solano Ave. I moved to the area and was looking for a new go-to Nail salon. When I got there, I was given a little chart to pick my color, some other lady took the chart right away as soon as I let go of it and when it was my turn to sit down, they just asked me what number was the color I chose as if I knew that I had to remember the number. I had a bad feeling already that this is not a good place to be. They didn't assist me to sit down, nor with my jacket or things. Water to soak my feet was cold, no assistance with the massage chair. the girl who did my nails was rushing to get my nails done. She scrubbed my feet very very gently and after rinsing, left my lower legs wet- didn't dry it and just went straight to get polish on. I asked if she can dry it because it was cold, she just grabbed some tissue and patted it quickly. For my color - she did two coats of gel polish without any UV light. See the photos on how uneven the polish are. The "massage" was a joke. No effort at all, it was like as if she was just putting oil on my skin, no pressure. I cannot think about anything good with my experience with this nail spa. I paid 45 for gel pedi plus 5 tip. On their website, they described their pedicure as: "Pamper yourself with a basic manicure or pedicure that includes nail trim, shape, cuticle refinement, and smoothing rough skin. Next, take pleasure in a mini hand or foot massage, followed by a warm towel wrap. Your nails will then be treated to a high gloss buff or a precise polish application for a finished presentation." The one on the front & the lady who did my nail seemed friendly when they talk to you thus the two stars, but other than that anything on the website is all nonsense. See the photo attached for the "precise polish application" claim. Maybe tired and overworked? But I don't think the service I got deserved the price I paid. Please don't waste your money here. Very disappointed.

Don’t come here unless you want to be robbed! The owner of the salon had a very unwelcoming present. I’ve been here several times when I use to live in Berkeley, but stop coming here since I moved. Surprised how uncomfortable she made me feel. Anyways, I told her I had gelX, and need it to be removed or redone. She kept telling me to do a fill, and kept telling her it’s gel x you’re not suppose to fill it. She didn’t know what gel was, so I told her I just wanted it removed and get a manicure, she seemed very annoyed. After getting my mediocre service (I still have debris from the gelx removal all over my hands), She over charged me for my services. I didn’t realized until after I already left. She charged me $95 for a regular pedicure, gel manicure & gelx removal. When I called to tell her she said because I had long nails (wasn’t that long) and it took TOO long to take off my nails, and that she had to cut down my nails. Excuse me? f you’re removing the acrylic you obviously cut it down! Everybody knows that! I’ve been getting my nails done for years, she kept speaking to me as if I was stupid about the process of getting my nails done. She’s so sneaky, when she gave me my receipt, which I had to ask for… she fold it in half so I wouldn’t catch the amount she charged me. That’s my fault for not paying attention, but I never got over charged at any salon before so I didn’t expect it. On the site the price is completely different than what she says. Gel mani is $35, regular pedi is $35, and my removal was $25 vs the website price of reg pedicure $28, gel mani $30 and removal $10. it was pure robbery.

I am extremely disappointed with the owner of this place. I called to book an appointment to get dipping powder only nails and gel only toes. The owner asked me if I had still had the gel and the dip on my hands over the phone and I said yes. I arrived and I was pretty satisfied with my service until the owner demands I pay her $20 over than what I usually pay every 2 weeks I come here plus a $10 tip for the other gal. No problem. I tell her that I usually pay $20 cheaper and I get the same service every time, but I quickly ran to the bank to grab cash (she asks me every time to go get cash and not use my debit card, not sure why) and pay her. I came back and she embarrassed me with arguing with me in front of all of her customers. I was in disbelief. I called to let her know that she embarrassed me and she continued to argue with me. No sympathy whatsoever ever. All the owner cares about is money not her customers. This really put a bad taste in my mouth. I will never come here again.
