I called a few salons in the area because I needed a gel overlay (aka poly gel) fill and this one said they did it. When I arrived for my appointment, they sat me down right away and I reminded them that I was there for a gel acrylic overlay fill. Not only did they go on and on saying that there’s no such thing as poly gel, but that I had acrylic and NOT poly gel, so Anna proceeded to put acrylic bonding liquid on each of my nails and my nails stared to MELT! It gets worse, she said she didn’t know what was happening and instead quickly put acrylic OVER MY MELTING GEL NAILS! Below is the inspo pic I showed and the quite terrible final result. Asked for a refund, considering that my poly gel was melted and ruined, but they said no.

The lady whose name is Anna in which (I asked her name to be able to post this review) did a terrible job! As you can see, my nails are completely uneven and very thick! That’s not all! She was very rough and my nails are hurting really badly! Usually the other ladies are very good at it but this is the first time I got Anna to do my nails and never again!

So glad I switch nail salons. The previous salon was not up to par. Rude staff and unsanitary. But Kimmys Nails 5 Stars! Judy is a sweetheart. Ann who does my pedicure and foot massage, I’m very happy :)

The lady that did my nails seemed nice, she sat me down right away. She took out a buffer and file completely used out of her pocket to use on me which is very unsanitary. I asked for acrylic coffin and she started glueing on the nails then cut my nails and didn’t measure them so they’re the same, I asked her to do it and she replied with “ I’m not finished yet” then she put the gel and as she applied it she didn’t even bother to fix the bumps she left. I would continue to ask for adjustments and she would reply with that same phrase. My nails are lumpy, uneven, they’re not even completely covered with polish, and she didn’t even bother looking at my cuticles. She rushed me when there was no line and gave me attitude the whole time. I left still picking at my nails because she left gel under my nail, around my cuticles and didn’t even bother to offer anything for after my hands.I just think that for any reason, if someone comes to a nail salon they deserve to feel relaxed and respected, I didn’t.

ZERO STARS! the lady did NOT bother to check if my nails matched up. i asked for coffin and they gave me some lipstick shape (a slanted nail). i went back and told them and they barely bothered to fix it and i paid $32! on top of that, they don't have many colors. out of all the places i've gone, this is by far the worst, i'm 100% i won't be going back.
