Guys/gals, I love gel manicures on my natural nails. I tried and searched everywhere for a good long lasting gel manicure. This place is the best I have been to so far. Within two weeks of having it I notice there was no lifting or chips. This is definitely value for your money. I had to wait a little because I was a walk-in but it was worth it. My nails are healthier and longer than ever. Give them a try. The second blue photo is the 3rd week of growth.

I was looking for a place in town that did dip powder nails. Specifically because I did NOT want UV lights used. This place said they did them so I made an appointment. First the locations only parking is paid street or validated parking garage. Plan accordingly. The shop was clean enough and bright. The employees were wearing masks and dividers were present. The ladies who did my pedicure and nails were nice enough. But the lady who did my nails did not seem to be as familiar with dip nails as maybe gel. As I was also unfamiliar with how the process SHOULD go in a salon, I didn't know better. After my experience I furthered my research and WILL NOT BE RETURNING to this salon for this service. 3 days after my appointment my nails started cracking under the clear top coat. I learned that the 4-5 layers of dip that I had could cause this issue, which I had put on my nails. Also, failure to properly use activator and file between dip layers can cause this, both things I don't remember happening. Also, this salon PREFERS to top dip nails with a gel/uv set rather than the dip kits top coat, the nail tech used Essie clear coat as recommended by what I assume was the owner. This top coat was not the correct product and kept drying matte. When I asked about this, they finally used the correct top coat and it was nice and Shiney. But I am also afraid that the use of the Essie top coat may have also damaged these nails and Led to the cracking. Should I have gone back to have this corrected? probably. But I don't live close and don't feel that this salon could fix this problem correctly. I am also factoring in my lack of knowledge and in experience of the technician. The pedicure was nice and left my feet soft. All new/cleaned tools were used. So I was satisfied with that. I guess I paid $90 for a decent pedicure and let someone practice on my hands for free.
