I am so saddened to write this review about Glossy Nails in Rocklin but I feel that I need to speak up. Let me start by saying, I have enjoyed going to Glossy nails in the past and have received decent treatments. Kim (the owner) usually does my nails and I tip her $10 each time. The past couple of times that I've gone in for my fills, she has used old nail files during my fill which is not something I am ok with. In addition, it's illegal per the CA State Board of Cosmetology to reuse nail files on multiple clients. I didn't say anything because I like the way she does my nails, so I decided yesterday 3/14/22 to bring my own nail files and asked a different technician to please use my files. I'm not sure what set Kim over the edge but she lost it on me and kicked me out of the nail salon! She told me I was lying and insisted she has never used old files, which is NOT true! She has!! Why would I bring my own in if she hadn't? I was humiliated in front of many patrons while she screamed at me and kicked me out! Needless to say, I am sad because I did not mean any offense by bringing in my own files, I just wanted clean files used during my fill. If you see any nail tech using a used file, speak up! My next step is to file a complaint with the CA State Board!! Patrons beware of how your treated at this salon!

This is an amazing place! Extremely clean as well as professional! I am a hairdresser and expect a degree of cleanliness and service when I go in somewhere. Glossy nails goes above and beyond! The owners Bao and Kim could not be nicer! I recommend this place for everyone, no matter who does your nails! They are a very talented team! I won’t go anywhere else!

This is the cleanest nail salon I've ever been to!!! Kim and Lao are the owners and they are fantastic people! Kim does such an amazing job on my nails. She is the sweetest person I've ever met! She called me when I was going into surgery to have my baby and she wished me good luck! That's the type of service you'll get here- family! They are truly family and so so nice! Lao does a fantastic job on my moms toes! He takes extra time to hit all of her pressure points and he goes above and beyond to always fit us in even when they don't have time. Glossy nails is the best place to go for all the things!

Friendly people, very sanitary. Great place to give a loved one or a close friend a gift card.

I called and scheduled an appointment for a full set gel manicure. When I got there the woman doing my nails informed me that she could not do acrylic nails. The manager argued with me about what I asked for in the beginning, did not offer another time to get the service I wanted. Poor customer service.
