I love this place. I like doing unusual designs and they are always willing to work with me until I'm happy

I went to this salon and asked for SNS nail service. One of the nail techs discussed with me what I wanted. I told her I wanted the powder dip. Another technician started working on my nails and it appeared to me that there must have been a misunderstanding of what I was asking for. I wanted SNS I had thought I had made it clear that I did not want acrylic. They were preparing to put gel polish on my nails over a simple manicure. I was then told that the powder I was asking for is actually acrylic and that anyone that has told me otherwise lied to me. I have had the powder for three years, it is not even removed the way acrylic is and does not require a fill in. I explained that my nails are very thin and break easily and simply putting gel polish would not hold up. I was then told I should "try it" so I did. That was a mistake. So for $38 and a $12 tip (it was not the ladies fault that provided the service) after five days I have two chipped nails and one broken nail. If they had told me from the beginning they don't offer SNS I would have gone to another salon. I will say that my nails looked very nice when I left, but I expect to have them last longer. I am very disappointed.
