Empathy in a situation when you have a much anticipated event is important in beauty service, Ulta Beauty lacked that in the way they handled a last minute cancellation. On the day of our event we got a call from Kat saying the only hair stylist for the appointment called in sick. Thats understandable, it happens with the times we are in, but when we tried to let them know it couldn't be rescheduled due to the event happening today. Kat instantly became defensive and her words and tone were hugely insulting. We then tried to ask if we still had our eyelashes appointment, but then we were hung up on! There was not even an apology during the conversation, which would make the news go down easier. We called back to respectfully share our thoughts on how we were treated and there was just silence from Kat, she can dish out disrespect, but can't handle being called out for it. Please be aware that some people at this business think of you as dirt to step on so they can just get to the end of the day.

This is a great location. The staff is very attentive and helpful. On my recent visit an employee helped me shade match by eye and made a spot on recommendation. I've been a manager in retail, I know good customer service is tough. Your team is rocking it.

The young man that was working was so kind and helpful. Loved him. Chick at the counter was a bit rude but they were closing up for the day so I understand. Thanks ulta! Love my purchases.
