I am rating my experience from March 27th at 1:00 pm. My friend and I called to see if they could take walk ins we were a few minutes away and they said they could take us. We were seated next to eachother which was nice and then the ridicule began. Dora and some other lady began doing my nails. The lady doing my feet literally smacked my foot and told me to relax when she was cutting my cuticles. This was inappropriate. She then told me I am too tense & need to relax. So then the Dora lady starts asking me about a scar I have on my arm, I told her it was an immunization shot, she said she never saw one like that. I said well that’s what it is. She said it again and again and again. My friend next to me gave me a look like “ wow” then she said “ You cut your nails too short!!!!” I said I type a lot for work so I keep my nails short she said “ a lot of people type, they don’t cut off their nails like you” Needless to say, this will be my last visit to Sydnee. The people I encountered were punitive, rude and inappropriate. I don’t like being treated this way. So I won’t be back. Two stars for the color selection as they have many many colors to choose from. But no thank you I don’t need to be reprimanded while I’m getting my nails done. Also, they changed their price after we paid and we got charged another price because my friend had gel on her feet, so they charged for removing.

I got a pink fill but was charged for a full set. I also paid for a lavender pedicure but was given a cheaper Sydney rose pedicure. When I approached the manager Tracy about it she then stated they had raised their prices due to covid and was upset I was upfront with her in discussing my above concerns and advised me they could no longer accommodate me. I was asked not to return. This was her unprofessional way of dealing with the situation. How sad after many years with this salon. I would avoid this place as there are many other desirable choices out there.

I absolutely love coming here! All their staff are always super friendly! They definitely take their time with you, whether it be for a manicure or a pedicure. I don’t have a specific nail tech I go to because every time I’ve gone there and get a new nail tech, they do an excellent job! Their prices are fair, definitely similar to most other nail salons.
