I often go in with just an idea of what I want. I always try to have Lisa do my nails. She always gives me her ideas which help me a great deal. I have always left there totally thrilled with what Lisa comes up with. I won’t go to any other salon.

Tsao is great she did my 1/2 leg wax last week and my nails today ( fill with gel ) overall it was good, not great...the shape of 6 nails is lopsided to the same direction. A little more attention to symmetry and they would have been perfect. I have been to this salon many years ago and didn't go back because the man who seems to be incharge wasn't kind AT ALL. Today's experience was better. I will give it another try for nails but will be more diligent regarding filing and shaping as it was expensive to not be 100% satisfied.

I had a great experience. I had visual examples of what I wanted, and received an amazing acrylic manicure. Will definitely return!

I used their service on Saturday and had a bad experience. The girl didn’t have on gloves and had sharp prickly red nails that was working on me. She twisted my thumbs so hard that I was in pain. When I told the girl, she said “good!” I thought that maybe she didn’t understand English. She proceeded, and twisted my thumb so hard that I shouted out for her to stop. She’d broken my skin. I was in pain the next day, and I’m still in pain. I went back today to inform the owner and he went ballistic on me! He told me that it wasn’t his fault and told me how could he believe me that I could have made it up. Soon there were his people around me telling me that the girl was very gentle and they’d watched her work and the all wore gloves. Very very nasty owner. I’ve been getting my nails done at this place for years. I’ve always paid cash and always tipped. I looked over his nasty ness because they were one of the few places that offered dipping power. There are lots of options now! Good bye Qtie Nails in Sherman Oaks on Riverside Drive. The nasty owner told me to go ahead and post; it’s not going to hurt him!
