This was my first time here and it was the WORST pedicure I've ever had in my life! First, they used the same buffer they used to remove my gel on my friend's nails which was weird, then the lady doing my nails dumped the old gel particles and my scraped cuticles INTO the tub of water my feet were soaking in. She seriously picked up the towel from under my feet and shook it into the water at the beginning of my pedicure. Look at the photo I took and you can see light green polish speckles and flakes of skin floating around.
Then they left me and my friend hanging with wet, cold legs after they rinsed them scrub off and immediately began putting the polish on. We had to ask for towels to dry our legs because it was uncomfortable and I've never experienced that. You can see my wet legs in my photo as well. The entire pedicure felt so rushed and careless compared to other salons I've tried and it wasn't relaxing at all. I can’t emphasize enough how it was the fastest, worst pedicure I’ve gotten.
Then, the application of the polish was as awful as it gets! It was uneven and I had blank spots on the edges of my nails, and she didn’t fully take off my old green polish on one nail so you could see it on one nail along with my new gold glitter polish. I didn’t notice until I got home because I’ve never had to double check my pedicures at any other salon, so I called the next day and asked to come in to get it fixed. Take a look at the photos I took of the visible old polish and uneven application.
I went in to get it fixed the next day and that was a super uncomfortable and rushed experience. The lady who did my nails the first time put on three coats of polish and specifically told me she was putting on that amount, but the lady fixing it removed the all of the polish and quickly put on one coat then asked if it was fine. There were still blank spots on the edges of my nails so I asked for another coat, so she rushed through the second coat and I felt so awkward for even coming back that I didn’t ask for the three coats I’d originally been given. Also the lady who did my nails the day before kept coming over and looking and they spoke to each other in their language which made me feel like they were complaining about me. I never care if they talk in a language they’re more comfortable in together (I do it myself with my family), but the context made me feel awkward since they’d been speaking English before but changed when the lady who first did my nails was hovering over the lady fixing it. I even ended up apologizing for coming back even though I paid for the service and left a good tip (in cash like they prefer).
I only came here because my friend’s family member suggested it because they keep a personal set of tools for you so I thought it would be very clean, but the fact that she dumped my old polish and cuticles into the hot water my feet were soaking made it clear that cleanliness and the customer experience isn’t a priority here. Go literally anywhere else.
