The staff are very friendly and great at men's haircuts. Received a few compliments already.

Awful service. Went there for a hair wash. The lady threw the towel on my face, and ran the water cold directly on my hair. I had to ask her to serve me warm water three times to get the right temperature. After the hair wash, the lady blow dried my hair and told me it was done, but my hair was still terribly wet. The price is not cheap. You wish to get your hair clean and washed, but all you get is a disappointing and unprofessional service and ruin your mood all day.

I tried this place because of the highly-rated reviews and I get nervous trying new places, especially with my looks. I made a note on my online appointment that I wanted to try something new and this is my first time. I grew out my hair for the last 2 months. I'm currently looking for a new job and want to look professional and stylish. When I arrived one woman told me to sit in a chair. Another woman came out, didn't ask who I was (since I signed up for an appointment, I thought they would at least confirm it was me). She proceeded to ask what I wanted. I told her I wanted something new and said I usually cut the sides, fade and the top long combed forward. I washed/conditioned my hair and did not add any product so my hair would be ready for something new. She put a cape on me. I usually go to barbers and they use a disposable paper around the neck area. I have a 17" neck, but this cape was choking me and no disposable paper. It's probably because this is a salon so the cape was made for smaller necks. As she was cleaning up my neck and sides it was hard for me to breath so I had a tickle in my throat because the cape was tight. After a few coughs I was offered water. I told her, "this (cape) is tight." I also used my fingers to try and stretch the cape. After a few minutes I started coughing again. The stylist next to us said something in Korean and next thing I knew I had to put on a mask. I'm not sick, the cape was choking me. She started back up cutting my hair and it was getting short, but she left my bangs long. I told her, "I like to have the front spike up, would that be ok for me?" I should have said, "would having my hair spike in the front instead of my bangs lay on my forehead be a better look? Should my short shaved hair on the sides with long bangs in front the new style? " She continued to keep cutting my top and bangs shorter and shorter. I look like a Marine (high and tight) or someone straight out of military boot-camp. By then I was sad about how short my hair was. The website says "35% off first visit". Well, this men cut is $35 which is exactly what she asked for. She didn't know I was a first time customer, she didn't ask and I was so sad I wanted to just leave. I spent the last 2 months with super long hair, wearing hats when I can and now my hair is too short and not stylish. Now I need to grow my hair out and try this again. I felt like they didn't care who I was, didn't listen when I said the cape was too tight and did not stop to ask if this is what I'm looking for. Why didn't she ask what I wanted or tell me what she was going to do? I'm not posting a picture because I don't want to ever remember what I look like now, EVER ! Reply 03.09.20 Thank you for the reply. As my original review states: I wrote in my online appointment this is my first time and was looking for something new. I was only asked what I usually do for a haircut, not that I wanted something new. I was very nervous in a new salon. I was not given any ideas magazines, nor was I asked what new style I wanted. I clearly said the cape was too tight, not adjusted or given another cape. I can't do anything with my hair since it is SO SHORT. I can only wait for it to grow. There is no way to I will come back, I look like a soldier, with a short haircut no style. I am 6' 250 pounds and now I look very intimidating, not welcoming. This is NOT a good look when I go for job interviews
