Placed a grocery pick up order for Wed., September 23 with pickup from 5-6pm. Drove 35 minutes to this Walmart and arrived at 4:50. At 5pm my phone received a notification that said they are busy and there is a delay in my pickup, so I hang around until about 5:45, try to call the store, but can't get through, so I head inside to see what's up. After lots of radio tag, we finally find out that grocery pickup isn't even operating this day. So I leave, quite irritated that I've wasted all this time and gas, and I'm under the impression they will just cancel my order. Next day, September 24 at 5am, I recieve a notification that my order is ready for pick up. I work all day, then check-in and drive the 35 minutes back to this Walmart. I arrive at 4:05 pm. The grocery pickup is busy, after about 20 minutes I flag a worker down and tell her my phone won't give me the option to put my stall number in. She says she'll put it in the system for me. At 5:00 I flag down a worker again and she apologizes and puts me in the system and says my groceries will be out in just a few minutes. All the while new cars are pulling in and they are bringing their groceries to them and sending them on their way. At 5:25, I find one of the workers and ask her if I leave, I won't be charged, correct? And she says no ma'am, so I said I have to go and I left without my $223 in groceries. On my way home, my husband got ahold of a manager and explained the situation. I get a call from the manager at 5:55 asking where I was, that he had my groceries and I told him I was already home. He said "well that would have been nice to know, I thought your husband said you were still waiting". I then started to tell him the whole story and he either hung up on me or we lost connection. I'm very disappointed in how this went. My groceries were ready, just no one would bring them out to me! It was a big waste of my time and nobody seemed to really even care.

I don't understand how funneling everyone IN and OUT of one entrance is social distancing. Why not have one as an entrance and the other as an exit if we're "really" distancing. Especially when 50 people check out but the heavens open and the bottom falls out! Now people are running to get inside while another crowd is gathered at the door waiting before they exit but refusing to go outside in the monsoon. Seems back wards to me. Selection was decent enough but as usually only a few lanes open which means more people gathered together in close proximity.
