Charm Nail Lounge

Went here last year to get my nails done before a trip to Vegas. I walked in and waited a while before I was paired with Grace. Got offered a drink and then showed her what I wanted done. She didn’t do exactly what I wanted, but I got compliments on my nails the whole time during my trip, so can’t complain! The price for my nails ended up being around $100 including tip, which I wasn’t too thrilled about, so I would definitely recommend this place if you want to treat yourself or have a special occasion coming up, rather than a place to come to regularly. Seems to be a mix of native English speakers and non-native speakers working in there, which I don’t care about, but some people prefer one or the other, so there’s both here if you’re interested. Now why the three star, you ask? I tried to come back here after my trip as I was preparing for another unexpected one soon, but was told that they weren’t accepting walk-ins that day and that it was appointment only. It was early in the week when I went and early in the day, times where a nail place is typically not busy. The receptionist lady was nice-ish about telling me, but I felt a bit off when she told and didn’t offer to book me for a different time in the week or anything, which places usually do if they really want you as a customer. I left and went to a different place and was able to get a service the same day and for a way lower price. So, this place wouldn’t be my first choice to come back to or recommend to people in Mobile, but I had an okay experience. I would rank it closer to 3.5 instead of an actual 3.

I love this place so much. I've been several times and have had all wonderful experiences. Grace is amazing! She is the only nail tech who I've found that can make my crooked nails look perfectly shaped. She's always very friendly and matches my vibe. When I want to talk, she opens up and has conversation. When I don't want to talk, she's friendly but works in peace. The atmosphere is beautiful and the owner is always very friendly and accommodating. I actually didn't realize he was the owner for quite some time because he's always very humble and laidback. 10/10. The only nail salon I go to.

Highly recommend, this is a clean, professional and safe place with quality service. They stay busy for a reason and charge fair prices for the quality provided. Raina is bomb she is so informative and kind ❤️

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a nail salon. My nail tech was named "Linda" and she was more concerned with "hustling" instead of doing nails. From the jump she kept trying to force services on me without giving me a price, for example she kept trying to make me get some kind of solar powder vs regular acrylic knowing that one was more expensive than the other and I had to ask her TWICE how much would it be. Then once she noticed I brought my OWN regular polish she kept trying to FORCE me into getting gel polish instead after I TOLD her I knew the difference between the two. Fast Forward, my total for a fill in, slight cut down, shape, and REGULAR toe nail/hand polish was 63.00 which I personally thought was overpriced but I didn't make a big deal. Then I told her I wanted TWO designs, I asked her how much THAT would be and she never would give me a straight answer she only said they started at 5.00. So instead she decided to just add that service to my bill AFTER paying for everything else. Which wasn't really an issue until she kept DODGING the estimate. I told her I wanted ONE rhinestone design on each hand, she asked for a picture and I showed her one. the design called for large crystals but ironically she "didn't have those". Instead she used some BASIC SMALL stones (a few ones at that) and she even tried to LIE to me saying she "couldn't glue stones on regular polish". She charged me 30.00 extra dollars SMH. Those two nails were only worth 5.00 a piece based on her materials. I refused to pay that due to LACK OF COMMUNICATION ON HER END and she decided to TAKE THEM OFF. When I told her all she had to do was tell me that two basic stone designs were gonna be 30.00 instead of 10.00 BEFORE doing the work she had the nerve to catch an attitude. She wanted MORE money for LESS work plus POOR COMMUNICATION, I don't mind paying for quality but I CAN'T STAND A HUSTLER!, I felt SCAMMED and I'm never coming back.

Very professional and clean! I went in about 15 minutes after opening and was seated almost immediately. They did a fantastic service and kept checking to make sure I approved of every detail, which I loved. WILL BE COMING BACK.
