I LOVE the craft beers here! I gotta go at least once a week to see what's new, there's always something I've never seen anywhere before. The guy with the cool shirts is funny, and honest when I asked him about something he hadn't personally tried. Sold me on that awesome purple wildlife gin I would never have bought otherwise. Good location.

Just an ok liquor store. Had some variety and a big beer cooler section.

I don’t post Google reviews, but they asked so here goes: Best spot in Banff for beer, wine and liquor. Friendly staff. When we come to Banff, our first stop is at Townhouse Liquor to stock up for a week of skiing!

The staff is very rude. The cashier body shamed my cousin, she told her to "put on a shirt." It's the summer, people are wearing clothes for warm weather and the staff think it's their place to comment on people's bodies and tell them what to wear. They waited until after a purchase was made, providing no receipt, to send out the manager. He started yelling and behaving very condescending. They kicked out a mother and her 2 young children, 2 and under. They yelled at me, while I was holding a baby! I didn't even respond, they told me I would be wasting my breath. I would recommend they get off their high horse and treat their customers with respect. For context, a child climbed onto a beer box, while under adult supervision. No damage done. He maybe shouldn't have. I would hate to be there when something truly bad happened. DO NOT shop here. Do not support a business that mistreats families, children and body shames people. I wish there was way to give 0 stars.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was in there today with my 19 year old son. One of the cashiers, who had blondish/reddish hair, a beard and tattoos, was eavesdropping on our private conversation, we were talking about what to buy and if we should get anything else. He asked for my son's id, which was accidentally left in the car. I was making a purchase, my son was not. He was immediately rude and condescending. He didn't believe that my son was really my son, and said "that's a good story, but this sale is not happening," basically calling both me and my son liars. He went off about how we will be fined and that security cameras are watching us. There was no reason for us to be belittled and told off like this. The prices also seem to be $10 - $30 more expensive than anywhere else. This guy was beyond rude and very unprofessional. No way I would ever go back.
