Choices of Serbian or Croatian origin plum brandy. Supraise find of Vinjak brandy also in stock. Worthy a 30 minute trip to the store.

Metro liquor has some of the BEST deals you will find around town. I purchased an impressive bottle of Jack Daniels Sour Mash Whiskey AND 2 bottles of French red wine for under $45. This is LITERALLY the best deal you ever find in Calgary. Star Liquor (at 130 Country Hills Blvd NE) is within walking distance for me but I REFUSE to go there based on their terrible product (sour wine) and awful customer service. Metro liquor is ALWAYS worth the extra 5 minute drive

Best beer store in town. Always stocked up with the best selection of beers from around the world and you buy in singles so you can try new without the price commitment. The service is incredible, always the same guys, kinda get the "Clerks" feeling. The location is generally very inconvenient for everyone in Calgary but, it's also right behind a Pizza Hut, so it's a 2 birds thing.

Metro Liquor is an awesome local treasure. Its far north yes but if you want single can, local craft beer they have some of the best selection in the city. They have countless single cans from many local breweries at great prices. You can often find your favourite seasonal beers from months past, long after they sell out elsewhere. Not to mention they have excellent deals on spirits and carry a variety of local Distillery products as well. And last, but certainly not least, their staff are awesome, knowledgeable, friendly and always pleasant. Highly recommend!

Definitely the best liquor store in the area if you ask me. The prices are reasonable and they have the best selection in the area. The store is always clean and well kept and the sales are usually great to.
