Been going here for years, aside from one time I forgot my ID and was totally humiliated, it's an all around great shop! They carry the 2L of American Vintage which is pretty hard to come across, and they have a great selection of less known coolers if you're up to try a new thing. Their prices are super reasonable, especially for a small locally owned business, and the cashier is always quick, friendly, and efficient. For people who want to compare it to the liquor store down the street, I went to that store during one of the waves and the clerk was coughing into his hands and didn't sanitize them before ringing through my items, I went home and had to wash and sanitize all of my items. I will genuinely never ever go there ever again. The folks at Sam's know what's up and keep the place clean, and I appreciate them for that!

Sam's liquor has the best selection I have seen in a long while. So much so that the last time I saw a selection like it...it was when I was a kid with my parents. Will buy again even if it's not my own neighborhood store.

Reasonable prices, friendly service. Good selection of liquor, liqueurs, beer and wine. Not huge but your popular brands will be here. Cheapest price for Cabot trail in Calgary

I've been going to this liquor store since Sam opened it. There is a Chinese man in there most of the time now. Today I went to buy a bottle of wine and I paid cash. As I was pulling away he knocked on my car window, in the parking lot, in -40 degrees, yelling at me that I shorted him a toonie. I apologized and handed him a toonie. He continued yelling at me like I was a theif. So I think its time to find a new place to buy my alcohol. I can't believe someone would chase me down for a toonie when I'm a regular customer.
