This is my local late night liquor store. Firstly, most all of the staff are good, a couple times they have been on personal phone call while serving or helping myself and other customers. A few times they had lacked the knowledge to answer questions but they have been friendly and engaging most always. My 3 and I almost gave a 2 star rating because this store lacks in selection, pretty much no local distillery presence, variety and a rotating discounted stock. Everything is priced so high that when given the choice I plan to not have to go there if avoidable. If you look at the successful independent strip mall liquor stores that have thrived and survived all over this city the business model that works is one that makes you feel that they are working hard to to encourage and build a community store. As such they should stock a variety of products at numerous price points. As well as having varying brands(with a ficus on local distilleries and micro brews) with sales and deals being rotated regularly and often. Currently it feels they have everything priced at the high end of, "what the market will bear." When I feel that kind of cold calculation in pricing from any local store I try and not shop there anymore. I imagine I am not the only one who thinks that way.

I was a regular at this specific location without issue until an incident that occurred on January 11th, 2023. I showed up looking to make a purchase at roughly 11:45PM. The doors were locked and an employee in glasses refused to let me in because I was wearing a mask. I then removed my mask and he was asking for my ID to let me in claiming the police said I had to show my ID before entering. I have had 3 interactions with this specific individual and the second time he had accused me of stealing a bottle of Hennessey??? However, I gave him the benefit of the doubt that he may have mistook me for somebody else. But it was clear after the third interaction, that this employee was purposely profiling me and throwing around baseless claims. Due to this I will not be returning.

Prices are much higher then the surrounding competition but they are open until 2am unlike them so maybe it's a trade off. Friendly staff and clean store but beer cooler could be colder as you dot want to crack one right away out of the box.

Went in today and found the very basic selection to be very overpriced compared to other nearby liquor stores. The beer cooler could be colder as well.
