Had a really nice conversation with owner. Fantastic guy. Fantastic store. Full shelves, great selection, great staff and best of all they help me stay employed by selling ice from the local ice company I work at Columbia Ice. Supporting local by selling local means jobs and profits where we all live. I sure appreciate that! We all need to support businesses that support local so if you need something cold or a bag of cold ice, think Maple Liquor Discounter.

Prices were oksy. Shop looked a little like the stick person just randomly planed produce in piles on the floor. ZERO customer service from the man behind the counter. Very unwelcoming despite my “hello” and “have a good night”

This liquor store has been my staple for months. My boyfriends too. Supplying it with lots of business. Today I went into the store and two young women were working, they welcomed me and I grabbed my items. Went to the till and was asked for ID and I provided it. Snarkily the one girl said "THIS IS A FAKE" with no inclination that my ID is not fake and has all the proper identifications your PROSERVE teaches you. I recently got a new ID last year in 2018 when I was already 19, I turned 18 in 2016 so my ID doesn't have the line under the picture saying I'm underage until whatever date because the license was ISSUED when I was already legal. Which was their reasoning because my license looks different from theirs. (I saw their licenses and it said under 18 until something 2018) Anyway, I am very disappointed in the customer service aspect of how they handled the situation. They were not kind at all and I even had my SIN, AB healthcare and birth certificate in my wallet to prove my ID was in fact REAL. I understand them wanting to follow the rules but maybe teach your staff how to properly identify fakes and deal with them accordingly, perhaps maybe even with manners. I normally have no troubles at this location and actually favour it because its close to my house. You have lost me as a consumer indefinitely..
