BCLIQUOR store along Bute Street in Vancouver is a well-laid out store that's generally well-stocked. The folks working at the cash register were all consistently quick and friendly each time we visited. More importantly, this BCLIQUOR store in downtown Vancouver has a very diverse selection of drinks, from local wines and IPAs (great octopus artwork on this can!) to imported drinks.

Wide selection of wine. Liquor. Staff are very professional and helpful. I was looking for a wine which they sold out. The staff was very helpful suggests another store within the area . Phoned that store and place a hold for me to pick it up later that day

Unfriendly cashiers. Lady Asked for ID when I was buying Growers cider, 5% alcohol! I didn't have my wallet so I showed them photocopies of ID's in my phone. She saw my picture, name and signature - and was unable to read my name (it's not a native English name) and asked for credit cards, since I only had them on my phone (because I wasn't carrying my wallet as I had all my cards on my phone and apple watch) they refused to accept it (I am 30). I understand there are rules in place, but those rules are applied based on cashier's subjective judgement, it takes just one look to realize I'm not younger than 19, but the fact that they chose to ignore it shows nothing but misuse of their so-called power. Also the fact that she got triggered as soon as she was unable to read my non-native English name is concerning.
