Affordable prices. Store closes early. Has a good collection of whiskey. Not much in terms of Beer varieties. Cannot get chilled beers. Handsanitizers available. Needs 2 IDs for verification of age.

I have been there to buy a Vodka. I was looking for a free glass top for particular flavour of Absolute Vodka for collection but I couldn’t find it. I was just talking with cashier and manager popped in and got the glass for me, I was surprised! He just took a glass from another bottle and gave it to me! I really appreciate his help not only because he gave me a free glass but he listened what I wanted and helped without being asked. I really loved his service and I would definitely recommend this place. Cheers!

One of the few BCLs that haven't been remodelled and so still feel comfortable. The Cold Zone is small, but that's fair in such a small store; and they otherwise carry most everything you need. The regular staff and manager are fantastic, and always make an effort to connect. Definitely one of my favorite liquor stores.

Lots of variety and well arranged. Staff very friendly and helpful.

You could just go another kilometre east and visit the Park Royal location, which has a much larger selection of everything (as well as a huge Cold Zone, by BCL standards), or go two blocks west, to the private store at 16th (which has an incredible range of craft and imported beers), but if you really need BCL prices but don't want to leave Ambleside, this place is totally OK, kinda. I guess.
